While I listen to the song I started playing with the spinning vinyl. I kept scratching it in parts of the song. Then I continued doing the at different spots.

Tittle: Shot for me by Drake

I listen to the song. Then I started playing with the pitch and tempo of the song.I made the tempo go fast where I thought it would sound good. I also did the same thing when I wanted to make the tempo or pitch slower.

Mixxx A6: Fx

Song: Swim Good - Frank Ocean


As I listen to the song I started playing with the FX buttons. Then at the parts of the song were I thought it would sound good I started playing with the depth of the sound. Witch made the song sound deep depending on how high or low you put it. I also played with the Delay Fx witch made it sound like there was airplanes in the background. Then last but not least I tried the LFO button witch made the sound of the piano in the song.

Tittle; Diamonds- Rihana

 I've waited till the song started playing, then I started using the EQ (Equalizer) to make the low sound a little more louder. After a few seconds I used the high EQ to make the high pitch of the song sound way more louder. Afterwords then I used the middle EQ to make the  middle pitches of the song to make it stand out. Then I turn all three EQ because I thought the sound would sound better.

Mixxx Assignment 2: Loops

What I first did was to put one of my favorite songs into the first deck. While listening to the song I was attentive of the best parts of the songs and stared putting loops there.After you find good parts of the song you can start putting loop. In the bottom of the deck it gives you options to choose witch one to choose from (1|8, 1|4, 1|2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16).

One thing I learned about this was that is very easy to use. also you most play with it a little before you try to do anything with it because is you don't the is really going to sound very bad. It is very easy to use and doesn't give you a hard time.

Songs; Swimming pools - Kendrick Lamar & She - Tyler the creator ft Frank Ocean

DJ Mixx is an important software as it lets people improve the song they like, it's a free program that can teach people the first steps on the DJ industry and so I used it on one of my favorite songs shown above. It's helpful as sometimes when you download songs you can feel like it's too low but in Mixx it has a volume control where you can make it higher or lower, and you can also cut off parts that aren't involved with the songs.
